Seanus Rag Day

Hello all, and festive greetings to you :)

Well we had another Seanus Exec meeting yesterday, (thanks to Ellie and Stephen for coming)
I was having some thoughts on the Rag day for next term, what do you think about the following?

16 - 20 January 2006-SAFE Anti-Robbery Week 2006 Crimestoppers and the Home Office are jointly running 'SAFE 2006' - an initiative to help young people avoid becoming victims of robbery and to deter potential offenders.

January 27th Holocaust Memorial Day (thinking candlelit vigil and film showing)
13 - 19 February 2006 Contraceptive Awareness Week The objectives of the Week are to influence health professionals, the public and the media in raising awareness of contraception and issues affecting contraceptive choice.

1 March 2006 Self Injury Awareness Day Raising awareness about the syndrome of self injury / self harm, and tackling the taboos surrounding the behavior of hurting yourself to cope with stress and upset.

8 March 2006 International Women's Day The United Nations General Assembly celebrates International Women's Day to recognise that peace and social progress require the active participation and equality of women, and to acknowledge the contribution of women to international peace and security.

Let me know either by email or by blogging, thanks Nickers, it is quite easy once you get the hang of it...

Love and huggles
